Who is mjolner.tech?

mjolner.tech is a chariot of software engineering driven by Anders Rasmussen.

Backstory

Born August 1984 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Anders has been fascinated by computers since thay were young. First learning Basic on PC and then as a teen getting into C, C++, and web technologies once the internet got around to our place in 1996.

Before settling on pursuing a professional carreer in Software development I did some odd jobs developing C/C++ programs and electronics schematics, layout and pcb assembly.

In 2014 I decided to go on a Working Holiday to Australia. Little did I know that I'd fall in love with the place and the people here.

I’ve been working remotely since 2016, which has made it easy for me to adapt to a changing world. I really thrive outside the traditional office setup, as it lets me take control of my work-life balance. That said, I do value getting together with a small team—whether it’s for collaboration or just to celebrate milestones. It’s all about finding that balance!

Hobbies and Interests

I love tinkering with electronics, both building hardware and firmware.

LEGO has been a constant source of creativity for me (as is required for someone born in Denmark, the birthplace of LEGO).

I'm a certified PADI Scuba Instructor and love exploring the underwater world.

Open Source

I regularly contribute to open source projects. I have done so mostly on my own time, though I have had employers relying on and contributing back to various open source projects.
